Monarch Butterfly Festival 2024
The Monarch Butterfly Festival is sure to bring soaring excitement this September! At this exclusive outdoor event, you can witness the release of monarch butterflies into the wild and even release a few yourself! You can also partake in crafts and games, visit their butterfly house, and explore the beautiful grounds of the Bob Jones Nature Center & Preserve.
Many people don’t realize that monarch butterflies migrate south in the fall to warmer regions like California and Mexico. With 1,000 butterflies being released at this festival, this will be one of the more unique fall festivals in Southlake and across DFW!
